HOW OFTEN TO ROLL THE SKIN?

Rules of thumb:

A 0.2 mm or 0.3 mm roller can be used every second day.

A 0.5 mm roller can be used once a week.

A 1.0 mm roller can be used once per two weeks.

A 1.5 mm and above roller should not be used more often than once every 3 weeks

WARNING: 

Derma roller can be used to treat several skin problems EXCEPT if you are /  have:

Keloid former
Purulent inflammation of the skin or acne skin; 
Severe atopic dermatitis ;
Diabetes and severe hypertension

TAKING CARE OF YOUR DERMAROLLER:

Microneedling devices should be thoroughly cleaned after use by rinsing it in warm soapy water first and then immersing it for at least half an hour into a > 60% alcohol solution or some other kind of sterilizing agent such as Chloramine-T. Merely spraying the needles is not enough by far, as the alcohol evaporates before the bacteria die.

Care of your Derma Roller

Unless you are disposing your roller after use, when you have finished using the device, rinse it under hot running water.  If you have used the roller with numbing cream, stand head first in the half full glass of disinfectant for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour (but no longer).  If you only used the roller gently, you need only disinfect the device on a weekly basis.  Shake off the excess liquid and stand on a clean towel to dry.  Please do not put the device away while it is still wet.  When it is completely dry, put the roller away where it will avoid damage.
